About Wicomico Goes Purple

Wicomico Goes Purple is a substance misuse awareness campaign that focuses on prevention, treatment and recovery resources available in our community. We provide education to our community about the dangers of substance use, promote available resources, and help support those in recovery. The Wicomico Goes Purple initiative encourages our community to get the facts, get involved, and start talking so that together we can help shatter the stigma of addiction.

Wicomico Goes Purple which was established in 2018 is an initiative of the Wicomico County Overdose Prevention Team in an effort to join the go purple movement.

Wicomico Goes Purple consists of multiple partners from various sectors located throughout our community.
